WORSHIPPING IN OUR PARISH
Outdoors worship at St. John's Lutheran Church grounds, Jeparit.
From March to November 2020, people in our local communities were restricted in their worship inside our congregation's buildings (Nhill, Woorak & Jeparit). To enable them to continue to receive God's Word and sing His praise through an extremely difficult and trying time, our Worship Services moved to online via our Nhill Lutheran Parish Media YouTube Channel.
With the easing of Victorian Government restrictions, as of the 8th November we were able to have 120 attendees at Worship Services across the three congregations of our Parish (x20 attendees in groups of 10 inside & x50 attendees outdoors). As of our Worship Services from the 29th November, we will be able to worship 40 indoors (in groups of 20 and as density allows) and up to 500 outdoors.
To assist people in transitioning and prepare for our In-Person Worship Services, please find the Parish Publications now accessible via our Parish Website; https://NhillLutheranParishOnline.com/notices . Here you can access prior to each Sunday's Service; the Service Order, Children's Bulletin, Pew Bulletin & ‘Return 2 Worship’ - Nov '20 Flyer. After Sunday, the Sermon Meditation & Podcast 'From the Bell Tower' will be uploaded (by Tuesday PM).
Should you want to worship in any of our congregations, please note the requirement to register by each Thursday 5pm for the following Sunday. This aids each congregational leadership & their 'Return 2 Worship' Teams, and Parish Office's preparedness for that Sunday.
